Blue Iceberg was engaged by Robert Marc Eyewear, a high-end manufacturer and marketer of fashion eyewear, to formulate a comprehensive digital strategy and develop a digital marketing plan.

Robert Marc has revived the art of the handcrafted frame and subtly brands his eyewear with the trademarked Robert Marc hinge that is inspired by historical design and construction. This signature hinge adds distinction and luxury to each frame and unifies the collection. The Robert Marc Collection is crafted with high-quality materials such as zyl (Italian acetate) and titanium. He is known for layering contrasting and complementary colors and patterns to create depth and glamour in each frame. While each frame is unique, Robert Marc’s seasonal collections are themed, reflecting Robert’s artistic consciousness and imagination.

Blue Iceberg was brought in to do a comprehensive assessment of the Robert Marc business and to make recommendations on how the company could engage more fully with digital marketing channels to attract new customers and accelerate their business growth. While strengthening the synergies between Robert Marc’s company boutiques and their third party retail stores, Blue Iceberg will enhance Robert Marc’s reach with Gen Z and young millennials using digital and particularly mobile marketing to reach them where they live their lives.  

We initially gained an understanding of Robert Marc’s business from an operations point of view since marketing and ecommerce must align with the way they run their business, defining how they wish to build the brand and what the strategic business goals are. We then provided Robert Marc with an assessment of prioritized needs with preliminary budgets to map out how Robert Marc can achieve its goals, and finally developed a comprehensive multichannel marketing plan including digital, mobile and social initiatives to drive their business.
